Appointment Cancellations
Your scheduled visits play a crucial role in maintaining your dental health. If you need to reschedule, we kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice to allow us to accommodate other patients.
Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations
Missed appointments contribute to longer wait times and delayed treatments. To minimize disruptions, a fee of £1 per minute will be charged for missed appointments or cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time. This fee must be settled before booking any future appointments.
Patients who miss or cancel appointments late on more than two occasions may be deregistered from the practice. Additionally, if you arrive late, the dentist reserves the right to refuse treatment and apply the relevant charges.
Zero Tolerance Policy
We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for our staff and patients. Any form of verbal or physical abuse, harassment, or violence towards our staff will not be tolerated.
Out-of-Hours Care
For emergency care outside regular hours, please contact NHS24 at 111. If our staff must stay beyond normal hours to accommodate unscheduled or emergency treatments, an out-of-hours fee will be applied.
Treatment Plans
You will be provided with a treatment plan for approval, either in person or electronically. Our dentists reserve the right to adjust treatment plans and associated costs based on your needs at the time of treatment. Your informed consent will always be obtained before proceeding with any care.
Safeguarding Policy
To protect children and vulnerable adults, we follow the British Dental Association’s “Was Not Brought” pathway if a person under 18 or in a vulnerable group misses an appointment.
Equality & Diversity
We are committed to treating all patients and staff with fairness and respect, ensuring no discrimination based on age, gender, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, or any other protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010.
Feedback & Complaints
Your feedback is valuable to us. If you have any comments, concerns, or complaints about our services, please contact the Practice Manager. We take all complaints seriously and strive to resolve them promptly. A copy of our complaints procedure is available upon request.
